Department of Psychology offer holder events

Experience what it'll be like to study BSc (Hons) Psychology at Bath. You must have an undergraduate degree offer to attend an offer holder event.

Join us at an offer holder event

We offer in-person and virtual offer holder events that cover our BSc (Hons) Psychology course.

After you receive an offer to study BSc (Hons) Psychology, you can attend an offer holder event.

Each year, we typically offer a combination of the following:

  • an in-person Offer Holder Day, which will take place on our 四虎影院 campus
  • an in-person Department Visit Day, which is more focused on the Department you'll study within, rather than the University. This will also take place on our 四虎影院 campus
  • a Virtual Offer Holder Event, which you鈥檒l be able to attend online from anywhere in the world

You don鈥檛 have to accept your offer to attend an offer holder event.

Please note: Our 2026 offer holder events have now finished. We will add details about our 2027 events to this page early next year.

In-person Offer Holder Days

At an in-person OHD, you can experience our campus, speak to staff and students, and see the places that you鈥檒l live and study in during your time with us.

The day will consist of University and Department-level sessions.

During University-level sessions, you will:

  • join a campus tour
  • view our accommodation 1
  • hear about our student support
  • find out more about professional placements and studying abroad during your degree
  • visit the Information Fair to learn more about things like careers and employability opportunities, admissions, and campus facilities

At Department-level, you鈥檒l spend time with the Department of Psychology, which runs our BSc (Hons) Psychology course.

During this, you will:

  • find out more about our BSc (Hons) Psychology course and how you can tailor it to suit your interests
  • experience a live taster lecture
  • speak to psychology students and teaching staff

Virtual Offer Holder Days

Virtual Offer Holder Days give you the chance to experience Bath, no matter where you are.

They are very similar to in-person Offer Holder Days. You鈥檒l receive University and Department-level information to help you get a better idea of what life as a student at Bath is like.

A Virtual Offer Holder Day includes:

  • an introductory talk, which includes information about our course, campus and facilities
  • a student Q&A panel
  • talks from teaching staff
