QA51(A) Monitoring and Enhancement (Apprenticeship Courses)

This Quality Assurance (QA) Code of Practice statement details monitoring and enhancement of apprenticeship courses, including quarterly and annual monitoring.

Regulations

Quarterly and annual monitoring is mandatory for all degree apprenticeship courses. Monitoring reports will be used to inform the departmental Self-Assessment Report (SAR), which is in turn used to inform the institutional SAR and Quality Improvement Plan (QIP), submitted to Ofsted on an annual basis. Quarterly and annual monitoring feeds into the periodic review of courses.
