Before you arrive
Prioritise these:
- visit your department Welcome website for useful information and your Welcome Week timetable
- register with the University 鈥� complete this as soon as you have received the invitation email. If you are an International Student, you will need to complete the Right to Study actions in applicant tracker before registration.
- once you have completed registration
- find out when your University Life Session is
- complete Student Welcome 鈥� our digital welcome platform which will give you some key information about starting university. You will be emailed an invitation a couple of weeks before you start
- download the Mybath app where you will be able to find the most useful links and tools you need as a 四虎影院 student in one place
- find accommodation if you don鈥檛 already have a place to stay
Other things to consider:
- join our workshops to support you starting University
- make sure your vaccinations are up-to-date
- set up your IT including email, antivirus, purchase IT equipment and assistive technology
- let us know if you have a disability so we can provide any support you may need
- plan out your budget
- plan how to travel to University

- arrange visas and important documents
- apply for travel insurance (to cover your journey to the UK)
- book a free airport transfer to Bath

- ensure that you have a bank card that covers international purchases (eg can be used in the UK) or set up a temporary account with an online bank to cover your first few weeks in Bath

- collect your room key if staying in University accommodation on campus or in the city.

In your first few weeks
