Occupations, industries and skills

Social Work and Applied Social Studies integrates theoretical knowledge with practical learning through professional placements. The programme develops a comprehensive understanding of social sciences alongside specialist social work knowledge, values and skills. Graduates qualify to register as social workers, though their acquired skills in problem-solving, conflict management, communication and time management are valuable across various sectors.
